Mod 6 - Power point - Brim

This is late and I apologize to my classmates. My 49 year old sister just had her 2nd (cancer) brain surgery this week so my attention has been elsewhere.

When uploading on the slide.net site, I never did see an orange blogger button so here's the link to the page. Hope it works.

Module 2: Emerging Technologies 2

For the 2nd Technology, I decided to play with on-line surveys. This will be a good tool for my business side and I can see it being a good tool to get feedback in the classroom and even to post open-book quizes or extra credit projects for the students.

I selected SurveyMonkey and did a simple survey about planning weddings. It was pretty simple to set up.

If you want to pretend to be a bride or groom and take the short survey, here is the link:

I'll happily post any responses and my analysis of the results later, explaining the logic and reasoning behind why I selected those questions!

Module 4: Delicious link - Brim

Here is my delicious link with the 20 resources: http://delicious.com/debi_brim/?page=1

I've identified each item with how I qualified it according to the list on the Module ("Citations 1; Citations 2; etc."). Since I'm planning to be a history teacher, my "subject area" items are history items. Since I'm a collector of quotes, my "useful and interesting" include some quotation sites.

Somehow, when setting up the account, I blitzed right over adding the delicious posting buttons and had a HECK of a time trying to figure out how to go back in and add those later. So be sure you do that first thing!!!
